Last weekend I got to go celebrate my sweet cousin and her upcoming marriage in the Houston area. Jerrod had the genius idea for us to drive to Victoria the night before and camp out at Coleto Creek Park for the weekend. It cut my drive to Houston shorter, and we have been so busy that we were so excited to get away for the weekend with our family and just unplug. We have been so busy, and we knew soccer would be starting after that weekend and the games are EVERY Saturday and Sunday until the middle of November. We had the best time hanging out by the lake. Going on “walkabouts.” A little bit of fishing mixed in. And eating. The boys were amazed by the Spanish moss growing from the trees. We went on treasure hunt walks. We hunted for shells in the lake. We napped as a family. We hung out in the camper and watched movies together. It was so nice to slow down and really be present with one another. They are my greatest accomplishment and my most precious gifts, and I am forever thankful for these memories that I was able to capture. I hope when our babies grow up that times like these will always stand out in their minds and in their hearts. Time is fleeting, and I want to savor each minute I have with them.

Sweet little Marley is the newest addition to the Baker family, and she is P-E-R-F-E-C-T! Just like that the Baker’s are now a family of 4. I enjoyed their lifestyle session in the comfort of their own home where they really let loose and had a good time! Even Chris and Hendrix got to wrestle around which is what makes a lifestyle session so wonderful… not to mention the added bonus of beating this South Texas heat. Here are a few of my favorites from their session:)Baker-3sb1Baker-9Baker-23newbatch-2bwsb3Baker-11Baker1-2-2

Y’all!! My cousin is getting married. I could write a book about the curveballs life has thrown at her, and how every time she has handled herself with grace. She has set goals and I’ve watched as she has reached each one and moved on to the next. Took us a while and several U-turns, but we finally found the destination we were looking for — one of San Antonio’s 5 Missions. The architecture was beautiful. We met and HIGHLY APPROVED of Josh! They fit together like a couple of puzzle pieces. Welcome to the family, Josh! Take the best care of my little cousin — she deserves nothing but happiness! Here are a few favorites from their session.sb2sb1
